loving // omaha’s december weather thus far. i love that it’s chilly in the mornings and nights but still warm enough for the perfect afternoon run or early evening walk through campus.

a few fun links from around the web:

if you don’t have a desk calendar for 2013 yet, here’s one you can download for free and customize each month.

a ten minute pyramid workout featured on the today show. i haven’t tried this yet for myself, but i think i’ll add it to my repertoire for use during the running streak.

joanna at a cup of jo always puts together the greatest gift guides. i especially loved her ideas for husbands this year.

in case you missed any of our other posts this week: on monday, we announced the opening of our etsy shop with food & drink illustrated prints; on wednesday, we blogged about an inexpensive way to decorate your space for the holidays and included a free christmas print; and on thursday, we celebrated k’s birthday by linking up to all of the delicious recipes we planned to make throughout the day (update: they all turned out great).

what’s everyone up to this weekend? we have our first holiday party of the season to attend, and we’ll hopefully get around to taking a photo for our christmas card. we also need to get to work on making that pile of wood in our entryway into a dining table, since my parents and sister will be here in a couple of weeks for christmas! hope you all have a fantastic weekend, and happy birthday to my bff ruth!
